Based on this and Onioner's recommendation, I went and listened to most of the album last night. It's extremely energetic and very well written. If they had Wyatt, I know it would beat out Over The Top easily. While the vocalist is good, it's too easy to imagine someone who fits better singing on the record. Maybe he'll grow on me though.

My list so far is divided into three parts:

1. Releases tied for first place

PLF - Devious Persecution And Wholesale Slaughter
Nails - Abandon All Life
Jayke Orvis - Bless This Mess

2. Releases I enjoy but not as much as the previously listed ones, in no particular order

Bad Religion - True North
Black Sabbath - 13
Cloud Rat - Moksha
Iron Lung - White Glove Test
Sodom - Epitome of Torture
Iron Reagan - Worse Than Dead
Killswitch Engage - Disarm the Descent
Black Dahlia Murder - Everblack
A$ap Rocky - LongLiveA$ap

3. Other good releases I occasionally listen to

Suffocation - Pinnacle of Bedlam
Ghost - Infestissumam
Dillinger Escape Plan - One of Us is the Killer

I'm sure there are a few others I forgot to mention. I have a few albums I downloaded but need to hear still like Magic Circle and Daft Punk.

There are a few albums coming out in the new few months that will change the list up. There's going to be a new Goddamn Gallows, Black Flag, Hank3, NIN and Autopsy.

New Daft Punk is okay but really fucking boring in parts. Reminds me of elevator / waiting room music.

6. Howl - Bloodlines
7. Mindmaze - Mask of Lies
8. Blockheads - This World is Dead
9. Rotting Out - The Wrong Way
10. Baptists - Bushcraft
11. Iron Reagan - Worse Than Dead
12. Hypocrisy - End of Disclosure
13. Ghost - Infestissumam
14. The Ocean - Pelagial
15. Rob Zombie - Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor

Still need to listen to the new Black Sabbath and I have the new Cloud Rat that I still haven't listened to. I also need to listen to the new albums from the trifecta of my high school listening experience (Amon Amarth, Children of Bodom and The Black Dahlia Murder). There's too many albums coming out! I love it.
Cool list. The fact anyone with ears would rate new Zombie over new Clutch is a total mindfuck to me but other than that I like a lot of these.

I agree. I bought my copy from Phil McSorley, by the way. Oddly ironic, but then again not really because he's actually on the disc.

Meh, I really can't agree. I listened to it on the way to and coming home from MDF, and I just can't get into it. And me love Daft Punk long time.

There are parts of it I like, but overall it's too disco-y and rather boring IMHO.
