I’m loving it a lot. Different from Ugly Animals but still great. I missed the free show yesterday and the show with Graf today,oh well i’ve seen em 3 times already. This will be on my top 10(maybe 5) for sure. JP you’ve done it again.

Just listened to a few new albums...

Blood Ceremony - The Eldritch Dark: A little bit different from their last one, and I can't say I like it nearly as much. However, it's still pretty decent for what it is.

Burzum - Sol austan, Mena vesten: I was happy to hear Varg was going all ambient, and I think he did a great job at it. I wasn't a big fan of Umskiptar at all, so I'm happy about this one.

Kadavar - Abra Kadavar: Another one of those retro-ish stoner bands everyone's been telling me I should be loving and shit. It's ok.

Batillus - Concrete Sustain: Another change in sound since the previous album, but I'm loving this one. Currently in my top 3 or so.

Wow! New Megadeth is fucking awful from start to finish. I read some opinions saying the 2nd half was better so I started at the 2nd half and hated every song.

Blah, blah, blah, pretend... blah, blah in the end... the best advice that I can lend... don't turn your back on a friend.

Seriously 7th grade jibberish nonsense. He needs to just stop.

Watched the Judas Priest Epitaph Blu Ray earlier tonight. Tom Allom outdid himself, this is the best production/engineering Priest have ever had, and one of the sickest live mixes I've heard ever. The band are also in good form, though I've seen videos of better shows from Rob than this one on the Epitaph tour. Scott ended up making the most fuckups though, and fails at landing a few fills right during Starbreaker. There's also too many goddamn camera cuts, it makes watching the movie fatiguing, which is already challenging since the concert is two and a half hours long.

The new Huntress is a bit disappointing. For some reason all of the fast songs are lumped together on the second half of the album, and there aren't any songs as good as the singles from the other record. Maybe it'll be a grower though.

Yeah, I felt lied to about the 2nd half as well. I still don't think the 1st song is that bad though. Outside of that, absolute trash.

I'm on the last track of the new Amon Amarth album and it's much better than I was expecting. The first half is a lot stronger than the second, but I never found myself bored of it. There aren't really any surprises in the sound though.
