Not my point at all. Anathema rarely tours with metal bands. I have a big suspicion that the new Alcest is just going to be a Klimt 1918 record. Not that that's a bad thing, but it's not what I want from Alcest.

Neige has said that Faiseurs de Mondes will be the last song from Alcest with Screams. Also that the new album would feature some heavy moments but no more Black Metal. And honestly, that's ok with me. I am a big fan of Souvenirs and that's the album that got me into the band. I wouldn't mind another album like that at all.

Going to need a source for that one. I think you're mistaken, friend.

It was on the Alcest Facebook page last year. I don't remember the exact interview. but I have seen it on several interviews around the time of the Alcest/Deafheaven tour

This is excellent, I love Alcest. But, just so I'm clear, is this the Anathema from the UK we are talking about?

Ehhh, I remember him saying that Les Voyages was likely to be the last Alcest release to feature both clean and harsh vocals alongside each other, but I certainly don't think he said that there would never be harsh vocals in Alcest again.

Open to being proven wrong on this one, though.

I actually don't mind either way, because Alcest's cleaner/dreamier material is godlike. Wouldn't mind full sets of that material at all. I just want to see them live again!

I'm so glad they're headlining! And I would go berserk if they did all of WS! That album rules so much!

Oh man, so excite. I loved the last couple Anathema albums so I'm sure the setlist will please me.

People in America, keep posted ! There will be some cool news announced tomorrow...
This could very well be the tour! Our local metal record store here in Vancouver said they have a concert announcement tomorrow, so I'm really hoping this is it!
