Mill City Nights is also a possibility unless they're not that popular here.

I love both bands to bill, but they can't fill Mill City Nights. Or if they play there, the upstairs will be closed off.

Oakland Metro Operahouse: Anathema / Alcest incoming October first.
If they wrote it like that it looks like Anathema is headliner.

I have flown to England to see Anathema 5 times, they will blow you away.

Stoooked. I hope this comes here because I've been longing to see Alcest again ever since their show with Enslaved many moons ago.

Also, I don't know Anathema at all. Where should I start?

Judgement and Alternative 4, two of the greatest albums ever made.

Stick with the newest albums from Anathema if you wanna get into what they will play live. They used to be a Doom Metal band, now they are Alternative Progressive Rock.

They usually play anything from Alternative 4 on, sometimes one from Eternity. Good chance of them doing the entire Weather Systems.

Also just got conformation, Anathema headlines.

So the best of Alcest followed by over an hour of Anathema. There is no losing in this situation!

Would see this tour, but this doesn't bode well for the new Alcest record.

They toured last year with Deafheaven. And I believe that Neige is smart enough to know that Anathema is the classic band that deserves to headline.
