No more always online requirement
The console no longer has to check in every 24 hours
All game discs will work on Xbox One as they do on Xbox 360
An Internet connection is only required when initially setting up the console
All downloaded games will function the same when online or offline
No additional restrictions on trading games or loaning discs
Region locks have been dropped
easy choice for me to make, now

I don't think I'll ever buy a console Day One

Again, it's down because so many people are trying to access it, but it was just confirmed.

I like the sound of this.

Still won't buy it day one of course. I'll probably wait until next summer to get it.

They announced no DRM, you only have to connect to online once when you first set up the console and trades will happen just like they do now. Nothing special about trades in.

Sweet that M$ decided to do this but come on now. Let's be honest on why they are even doing this in the first place. They are getting their ass kicked in preorder sales and know they are going to lose right out the gate. They are doing this for the money instead of for the consumers. Might pick one up later in the year but still wont forget what they tried to do in the first place.
