Rotten Sound -- Chicago, IL -- May 16th, 2013

Pit of Spikes, Dead in the Dirt, Reign Inferno, and Enabler also played. I didn't really watch Reign Inferno since I've seen them so many times, but every band was ridiculously awesome. Rotten Sound felt like it was non stop craziness the entire time they played. The only thing that sucked was the turnout, but I know it'll be packed next week in Baltimore.

Dead In The Dirt are an awesome Southern Lord band, I saw them open for Sunn 0)))/Black Breath back in December. I had to miss the Rotten Sound show here in Van, but im sure they will be back.

I've been going back and forth on seeing this on Saturday. I think I'll go.

Trevor from BDM will be at the show. I wish I could make it out but I'm strapped for cash and no one else want to go down to it with me.

Yeah I saw him there along with Hiran from Battlecross.

Even though the show was at some shitty obscure bar, it was definitely worth going to. Enabler surprised me quite a bit, and Rotten Sound was insanely awesome. Non-stop speed and heaviness.

And for those wondering, they played pretty much the exact same setlist as the Chicago show, only there was no encore.

Really awesome set! So pumped to see them Monday. Enabler and Dead in the Dirt make this an amazing lineup, but I am more than happy with just Rotten Sound and a few cool locals.
