I listened to the new Immolation today. It's solid but I expected more after that Providence EP. Indoctrinate is a monster track though.

For the record I've actually tried to listen to extreme metal music, I can't stand it.Musically it's killer, but I can't stand shriek/harsh vocals, and I only can stand growls when their are a limited number of them, not when the whole song is growls.Closes I get is Alestorm and Lordi.

New Orchid is beyond killer. This is the album that's gonna make everyone realize how awesome they are, and the next one will probably make them explode

I thought the first track started off terribly - easily the weakest section of the album. Glad I powered through, though. Some very awesome riffs and tasteful effects usage throughout the rest of the material.

Checking out the new Orchid now. Everything I'd heard from them prior to this seemed rather unmemorable but I'm digging this album so far.

YOU'RE UNMEMORABLE.

But seriously though, the title track is fantastic, Nomad is super catchy, Leaving It All Behind is epic and See You On the Other Side is simply amazing. I just hope they can keep this momentum going and come out with another record in 2015. This album is a huge step up from Capricorn, so I expect the next album to be their masterwork if they can keep this up. Hail the bay, bitches!
