I can't decide if I should go to Ghost in DC on Monday or not. I want to, really the drive is the only think making me second-guess it. The ticket is only $20 but it's a 3 hour drive to the metro station and then a 30 minute ride into the city. So I'm not gonna get home until 3 AM and I have a day at my internship the next morning around 9. But I won't have too long of a day there so I think I would be fine to be a bit tired. Any thoughts?

Plus it sounds like Ghost's next NA tour will be supporting Deftones and A7X and there's no way I'm going to that shit.

I say, skip it, save your money, and feel fine at work the next day. You'll regret it maybe for a few hours on Monday, that's it.

How are they live? I'm admittedly a little nervous they'll be bad since Chris Cornell did a bunch of bad stuff before the reunion.

Chris sounded good when I saw them but apart from Chris the rest of the guys had just about zero stage presence.

They were great. The first time was probably the better one, but the second time... damn were they heavy.

I agree about the stage presence of the others, but they're not that bad really.

The best way to see Cornell is solo acoustic though. Ho-ly shit

Cornell acoustic probably isn't for me. With Soundgarden, I'm mainly in it for the RIFFS.

You probably should have seen them before the new album came out then... they stopped writing riffs in 1996.

Pray they plan 'Gun'.

From what I've seen they do a ton of Badmotorfinger and Superunknown, and even a little Louder Than Love. So I'm not too worried. New album isn't so hot, though. Maybe three songs I really like.

Yeah, that's what made the last tour so good. Loads of old stuff from Louder Than Love.
