Alice in Chains -- Bethlehem, PA -- May 7th, 2013

So this is my first review and first time seeing AiC. All i can say is holy hell they killed it. We got to the venue around 5 waited in line for a while when they let us into the stage area around 6/630 we got in and got right on the rail. AiC is my favorite band (despite my user name). Around 7 BloodnStuff went on they played a solid aet for about 30 min or so. Pretty good stoner-ish rock. Next up was Alice in Chains. It was an early start, the bamd took the stage at 8 on the dot and played until almost 10. They were absolutely great. Threw in some different songs from previous sets which made me happy. I was expecting to get Them Bones as an opener instead the lights went down Jerry came out and started the intro to Dirt. The place went nuts and it carried on through the whole night. Sold out crowd.

Alice in Chains set:

Dirt
It aint Like That
Check My Brain
Again
Them Bones
Dam That River
Hollow
Your Decision
Heaven Beside You
Acid Bubble
Down in a Hole
Rotten Apple
We Die Young
Stone
No Excuses
Rooster

Encore:
Man in the Box
Would?

It's fun to take a trip. Put acid in your veins.

The set was absolutely awesome. And took me completely off guard. They really did not let down when it came to song selection or performance. Dirt just sounded so cool as an opener.

I was there as well. It was a pretty awesome show! I only wish they had fit Rain When I Die in there somewhere.

William Duvall really does sound great live.
