Really? When I saw him with Ozzy two years ago and they did Sabbath numbers with more complicated fills, he fucking ruined them.

With Sabbath last year he was at least competent in that I didn't notice him fuck up, but I wasn't really watching him, you know?

Incidentally, what the fuck is Wilk doing that he can't be in Australia?

Yep, your assessment's pretty dead on, but check out some videos from this year. Tommy's actually taken the time to learn the stuff for this tour. Believe me, I remember watching him ruin Fairies Wear Boots with Ozzy three years ago too.

God yes. That was easily the worst one. I think me and the people I was with just started laughing when it got to the first fill.

Probably something like that?

Honestly, I've heard Ozzy sound bad in terms of hitting notes, but I've never really heard him forget lyrics and fuck up songs, in four shows.

A band can play fine through a vocalist that's struggling, not so much a drummer. It's too bad Bill didn't just agree to do an encore or two or something with them... focus on playing those well, and end the shows right. Ah well.

I was thinking the same thing, Bill can't drum and Ozzy can't sing. I agree with Cheese Wedge. The drumming has to be tight, or it will really fuck up the sound with Geezer and Iommi. Ozzy can sing like shit and it's not going to ruin the sound as much. And Ozzy has been using a teleprompter for like ten years now, that's how he never forgets the lyrics.

Ten years?? Try probably 20. I know he was using them as early as 1997.
