I saw that GZA is playing the 10th so I may go to that if anyone else is.
The Melechesh tour is hitting SF on the 17th. Are you going to be using public transportation?

Just finished my first year of grad school! 6 out of 11 courses done, so really I'm already past the halfway point.

Nice man! Almost there! I'm thinking of going to grad school sometime after I get my BS next year. It'll depend on if I can get a job right away or not after graduation and if they are going to pay for it. I know grad school for my major is usually funded, so I'm not worried about paying for it.

That's nice. Yeah, my girlfriend is a biology / environmental science major and she's working at a lab right now but she tried going straight to grad school out of undergrad and the problem she ran into was that them funding you sometimes means you'd be turned away due to a lack of funds, not due to a lack of ability. So it's a really cool deal, it just sucks if the university doesn't have much money.

Just found out my brother in law has a Brain tumor.

He is the sole reason why I am into Metal. he got me into Metallica. Hell, back in 9th grade we played Am I Evil...in a church. That's Metal.

I really hope he pulls through!
