It's a good record. Like Brad said, It's more consistent and on the whole a better record than Goblin, but save for Rusty, Tamale and Colossus, there isn't any songs that are on the level of the elite material on Goblin.

The only songs on Goblin I can go back to and still enjoy are Yonkers, Nightmare, Transylvania, and I guess the title track. From my first listen I always thought it was a very spotty album and no more than a 7/10 but it's also kind of a shrinker. A couple of weeks ago I was at a friend's house and she put on Sandwiches. All I could think was "wow, this beat is awful". Even Yonkers is kind of hard to listen to these days because of shit like this:

That was painful to read. I still listen to Yonkers, Tron Cat and Transylvania frequently, but then again, I didn't start listening to the album until the middle of last year. It sounds like I should check out Wolf though.

EDIT: Oh yeah, Radical is pretty sweet too.

Lol that is awful. I can see where coming from on Goblin. Tron Cat, Yonkers, Nightmare, Sandwitches, She and Golden are all excellent songs that my opinion hasn't wavered on since it came out. Radicals and Goblin I thought were great initially, but they are just alright to me the now. The rest of the album ranges from pretty weak ("Transylvania", "Her", "Analog") to flat-out awful ("Window", "Bitch Suck Dick", "Fish".)

Two Nile shirts, a Nile beanie, three packs of Ernie Ball strings, and a thrift store copy of Fahrenheit 451.
