I enjoyed listening to this album after a quite lackluster Reach For The Sky. This album was less polished and saw a return (albeit, very brief, before going on hiatus until 1997) to a more raw hard bluesy rock sound more reminiscent of Invasion Of Your Privacy. Ratt is one of those bands that got lumped in with the term "hair metal". Well, show me a popular hard rock band from the 80s that didn't have long hair. These guys along with Dokken, Cinderella & Tesla all played hard rock music with a bluesy twist but because they all in one way or another fit the 80s image, they all get lumped into the "hair" group. But I digress. Great album with a screamin' Soldano SLO100 from Warren DeMartini.

Yet another album that is in common with my list. One Step Away is my favorite though. And your right about the 80's long hair thing.Come to think of it, try to name one rock or metal band in general in the 80's that didn't have long hair. Why do you list Shame, Shame, Shame as War In D?

82. AC/DC - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap

1. Dirty Deeds Done Dirty Cheap
2. Love At First Feel
3. Big Balls
4. Rocker
5. Problem Child
6. There's Gonna Be Some Rockin'
7. Ain't No Fun (Waiting 'Round To Be A Millionaire)
8. Ride On
9. Squealer

If someone asked me for a rock and roll party soundtrack, I would hand them this album. There isn't much I dislike by AC/DC, but the Bon era stuff is my favorite and this is my favorite album by them. A must listen for anyone wanting awesome & raw rock guitar sounds or a soundtrack to liven up a party.

81. Ghost - Opus Eponymous

1. Deus Culpa
2. Con Clavi Con Dio
3. Ritual
4. Elizabeth
5. Stand By Him
6. Satan Prayer
7. Death Knell
8. Prime Mover
9. Genesis

Ghost is one of my favorite newer bands to come along in quite some time. I classify these ghouls as King Diamond meets Blue Oyster Cult. I heard someone call them "Scooby Doom", which I thought was awesome. I saw them open for Mastodon & Opeth last year and their live sound was pristine. Looking forward to their new album which comes out next month.

80. Sunn O))) - Monoliths & Dimensions

1. Aghartha
2. Big Church (Megszentségteleníthetetlenségeskedéseitekért)
3. Hunting & Gathering (Cydonia)
4. Alice

There are certain albums that I have to listen to during certain moods that I might be in. Monoliths & Dimensions is my go to album during times of anger and depression, which I've had a lot bouts with since 2010. The drone sounds mellow me out and by the end of the last track, it empowers me. Not many albums, let alone artists, can do this.

I have one question, why do you call "Shame, Shame, Shame" War In D?

On my copy of the CD, "Intro To Shame" is titled "War In D"

Great picks with Welcome To My Nightmare and Dehumanizer. If I were to ever do a list (which I highly doubt will ever happen) they would be much higher since they're my favorite albums from Cooper and Sabbath. Both awesome albums and two albums that really helped shape my personal music tastes.

79. Y&T - Black Tiger

1. From The Moon
2. Open Fire
3. Don't Wanna Lose
4. Hell Or High Water
5. Forever
6. Black Tiger
7. Barroom Boogie
8. My Way Or The Highway
9. Winds Of Change

Yet another band that gets lumped in with the "hair" group because their biggest hit was Summertime Girls. This is one of 2 Y&T albums on my list, and they're both absolute bulldozer hard rock albums.
