Another really strong album, although Johnny B. Goode may be one of the stupidest covers I've ever heard.

The first guitar virtuoso album I ever listened to. While I'm not too huge on Steve's processed guitar tone, his insane chops more than make up for it. I can only dream of playing remotely as good as Steve.

O heck yea! I was very tempted to put it on my list, don't know why I didn't though. The Audience Is Listening is one of the most beast guitar songs of all time. And I also like Ram It Down.

89. Boston - Walk On

1. I Need Your Love
2. Surrender To Me
3. Livin' For You
4. Walkin' At Night
5. Walk On
6. Get Organ-ized/Get Reorgan-ized
7. Walk On (Some More)
8. What's Your Name
9. Magdalane (Hybrid Ice cover)
10. We Can Make It

3 out of the 5 Boston albums will appear on this list. This album is notable for being the only one without Brad Delp as frontman, although he still provides some background vocals. I thought Fran Cosmo did a damn fine job on the vocal work. The reason this album made my list was tracks 4 through 7, collectively known as the Walk On Medley. The guitar parts of Walkin' At Night and Get Reorgan-ized are some of my favorites of any guitarist on any album.

Favorite track(s): Walk On Medley (4 thru 7)

88. April Wine - The Nature Of The Beast

1. All Over Town
2. Tellin' Me Lies
3. Sign Of The Gypsy Queen
4. Just Between You And Me
5. Wanna Rock
6. Caught In The Crossfire
7. Future Tense
8. Big City Girls
9. Crash And Burn
10. Bad Boys
11. One More Time

Canada has given us Rush, the term "eh" and these guys, April Wine. I first heard Sign of the Gypsy Queen when I got my satellite radio 4 years ago. Instantly clicked with me and I checked out the rest of their work. While I like the majority of what I've heard from them, this album sticks out the most to me. Great guitar tones, vocals and song structures.

87. Opeth - Heritage

1. Heritage
2. The Devil's Orchard
3. I Feel The Dark
4. Slither
5. Nepenthe
6. Haxprocess
7. Famine
8. The Lines In My Hand
9. Folklore
10. Marrow Of The Earth
11. Pyre
12. Face In The Snow

I'd like to take a bat to the head of everyone that's said "0MGZZ DIS ABLUM SUX BECUZ DERE R NO GROWELZZ HURRDADURP". This is a beautiful album. Progressive, mellow and rocking, all rolled into one. I don't dislike anything I've heard from Mikael Akerfeldt. This is one of two Opeth albums to appear in my list.

Nice choices with Ram It Down and Passion And Warfare. Saw Vai last summer and it was an incredible show.

9. Love You To Death
10. Monster Of Rock

One of 3 Priest albums to appear on my list, and one of 3 Priest albums that everybody seems to hate. I've loved this album ever since the first time I listened to it. My only complaint is the standard 80s drum machine tone, but I can easily get past that with the likes of Glenn's riffs on Heavy Metal & Hard As Iron or the epicness of Blood Red Skies. I was supremely happy when I got to experience Blood Red Skies live in 2011. And yes, I am one of the few people that enjoyed the Chuck Berry cover.

Another Fuck yeah for Ram it Down. I also enjoy the cover. The original can't be topped of course, but I rather enjoyed the Judas Priest-ification of the song. This album is super under-rated, as is Hard As Iron. If I ever get to experience that song live I will start a mosh pit with knives.
