The lone Crue album with someone that can actually sing, Mr. John Corabi. This was another one of my used CD store discoveries. I think I paid 2 bucks for this gem. From the second I popped it in the car CD player and the opening riff of Power To The Music hit, I knew it was gonna be a good one. Mick sounds ridiculous on this album. With many of the songs tuned to drop C on this album, his guitar gained a new growl. As much as I like the catchiness and riffs of previous Crue albums, this is the only Crue appearance on my list. Something about the songs as a whole really hit me when listening to this and it's definitely a great, hard rock/bluesy album. A must listen for anyone.

Well, you really disappointed me with this album.Everything the have made is at least 5x better than this, including New Tattoo.Sure, John Corabi is a good vocalist, and Mick Mars lowers his guitar tuning (like he hasn't done it before), but this just to grungy (I HATE grunge more than anything in the world, the only thing close to it I like is Switchfoot).Bottom line, this really isn't Motley Crue.Shout At The Devil is Motley Crue, Dr. Feelgood is Motley Crue, but this self-titled is NOT Motley Crue, it's Motley Crue posing as Alice In Chains.

Well that's my rant for the day, just my opinion, nothing meant to attack you or anything.I look forward to further inclusions!

94. Ted Nugent - Love Grenade

1. Love Grenade
2. Still Raisin' Hell
3. Funk U
4. Girl Scout Cookies
5. Journey To The Center Of The Mind (Amboy Dukes cover)
6. Geronimo & Me
7. Eagle Brother
8. Spirit Of The Buffalo
9. Aborigine
10. Stand
11. Broadside
12. Bridge Over Troubled Daughters
13. Lay With Me

The first of 3 albums from Uncle Ted invades my list. Before I go any further, shut the fuck up about any political crap. K? Good. This was Ted's last studio album, being released in 2007. This is one of my staples for what I think a raw rock and roll album should sound like. A guitar straight into an amp with next to no effects added. There's a bit of chorus at the beginning of Broadside and a little bit of wah on a couple tracks, but other than that, just a glorious Gibson Byrdland through a cranked Peavey 6505+.

93. Whitesnake - Good To Be Bad

1. Best Years
2. Can You Hear The Wind Blow
3. Call On Me
4. All I Want, All I Need
5. Good To Be Bad
6. All For Love
7. Summer Rain
8. Lay Down Your Love
9. A Fool In Love
10. Got What You Need
11. Til The End Of Time

The first of a few "comeback" albums on my list. I've seen Whitesnake twice and 2 out of the 3 times, they've opened with Best Years, which is one of my favorite live openers ever. Doug Aldrich and Reb Beach breathed new life into Whitesnake after being inactive from the studio for over a decade.

8. Fight
9. In The Year Of The Wolf
10. Keys To The Kingdom
11. Smiling Like A Killer
12. Whorehouse Blues

The first of 2 Motorhead appearances on my list. This still hold up, IMO, as the best Motorhead album of the last 20 years. There's something for everyone on this album. Traditional Motorhead style songs combined with borderline speed metal and a lovely acoustic number to close out the album. This was the first Motorhead album I listened to all the way through, so it holds a special place for me.

92. Thin Lizzy - Thunder & Lightning

1. Thunder & Lightning
2. This Is The One
3. The Sun Goes Down
4. The Holy War
5. Cold Sweat
6. Someday She Is Going To Hit Back
7. Baby Please Don't Go
8. Bad Habits
9. Heart Attack

The first of 2 Lizzy albums on my list. The final Thin Lizzy album brought John Sykes to the forefront of hard rock music 1983 and the team of John Sykes & Phil Lynott remains one of my favorite rock teams ever. Sadly, Phil passed on in 1986 and we never got another true Thin Lizzy album. A recurring theme throughout my list will be guitar tone. The mid 70s Gibson Les Paul through an early Mesa Coliseum 300 watt amplifier gave John one of my favorite instantly recognizable sounds. I hope to see John one day in concert in whatever capacity, he's one of my guitar gods.

91. Steve Vai - Passion & Warfare

1. Liberty
2. Erotic Nightmares
3. The Animal
4. Answers
5. The Riddle
6. Ballerina 12/24
7. For The Love Of God
8. The Audience Is Listening
9. I Would Love To
10. Blue Powder
11. Greasy Kid's Stuff
12. Alien Water Kiss
13. Sisters
14. Love Secrets

The first guitar virtuoso album I ever listened to. While I'm not too huge on Steve's processed guitar tone, his insane chops more than make up for it. I can only dream of playing remotely as good as Steve.

I don't think I've ever listened to a Steve Vai album, but I when I saw him perform years ago on the G3 tour he blew my fucking mind. What a ridiculously talented guitarist.

90. Judas Priest - Ram It Down

1. Ram It Down
2. Heavy Metal
3. Love Zone
4. Come And Get It
5. Hard As Iron
6. Blood Red Skies
7. I'm A Rocker
8. Johnny B. Goode (Chuck Berry cover)
9. Love You To Death
10. Monster Of Rock

One of 3 Priest albums to appear on my list, and one of 3 Priest albums that everybody seems to hate. I've loved this album ever since the first time I listened to it. My only complaint is the standard 80s drum machine tone, but I can easily get past that with the likes of Glenn's riffs on Heavy Metal & Hard As Iron or the epicness of Blood Red Skies. I was supremely happy when I got to experience Blood Red Skies live in 2011. And yes, I am one of the few people that enjoyed the Chuck Berry cover.
