This was one of the first metal albums I ever heard and I keep on coming back to it. Just the completely hopeless and depressing aura put off by this record is unlike anything I've heard since. All the emotion and expannsiveness of the current black metal scene but the riffing that comes from being a part of the awesome Australian black metal scene. Greatness.

I've been pretty much going through this and listening to anything I hadn't heard, but I'd like to especially thank you for this. This album is just fantastic.

Also, that Fireworks album kicks ass as well.

Sweet! This makes me happy. ^o^ Abyssic Hate was one of my first handful of metal songs and I've always loved them. I'd also recommend early Forgotten Tomb if you like that.
