Martyrdoom Fest 2013

According to Grim Kim's twitter account Hour of 13 are now on 'indefinite hiatus' and won't be playing Martyrdoom.

Figures. Once I saw their name, I knew that somehow they would end up cancelling. Awesome band on record though.

Now that I'm 21 and can attend this fest, I was looking forward to making the trip up to New York for it, but this lineup is disappointing compared to last year's. I'll wait and see who is revealed to be the last five bands for the fest.

Churchburn
Deathgod Messiah
Execration (not the Norwegian one, unfortunately)
The Flight of Sleipnir
Stoic Dissention

Still one more band tba. I have to say, I was hoping these last few would be the headliners, but I guess not. Overall, I'm definitely a bit disappointed in comparison to last year. I would much rather had had it consolidated to get bigger/better/more international bands and limited it to just one day with ten or so bands over this. I'm definitely going (and even then maybe not all of the days) because I live here, but I don't think I'd travel more than a couple of hours for this.
