Anthrax -- Brisbane, Australia -- February 21st, 2013

This was a warmup headlining show for the Soundwave tour. Setlist is taken from this Youtube video of the entire set:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBst-LEfCBA

Jon Donais sounds like he's doing perfectly fine on guitar, but hearing anyone other than Charlie Benante drum for Anthrax is just weird. Jon Dette is hitting most of the fills and is doing okay on most of the double bass, but his feet are way less consistent than Charlie's, and he's absolutely nothing compared to Dave Lombardo from what this video shows- the Slayer shows are not gonna be pretty.

Joey is sounding really really good though, and he's accessing some crazy high register that he hasn't used since PoT on T.N.T. I'm starting to think that Joey has always had some huge range that he just hasn't used at all in the last twenty years.

As for the setlists, no surprises here other than T.N.T. I can imagine the Metal Alliance tour will be all of Among the Living + Fight 'Em, Antisocial, Got the Time and Madhouse, if that.

1. Caught in a Mosh
2. Fight 'Em Til You Can't
3. Antisocial
4. Indians
5. In the End
6. Deathrider
7. In My World
8. Madhouse
9. The Devil You Know
10. Got the Time
11. Efilnikufesin (N.F.L.)
Encore
12. Among the Living
13. Medusa
14. T.N.T.
15. I Am the Law

Saw the video, they did the Worship intro into Caught in a Mosh, but played the Earth on Hell intro right before.

Stop that Anthrax, it's blue-balling. Don't play the first five seconds of one of the best songs on Worship Music, then stop.

So either make a change or shut the fuck up about it already.

They should just not play anything from that album

Three minutes of complete silence can replace Got The Time.

I'm surpsrised In My World is still in the set. They played it the entire leg of their last tour and now it's still there? You're doing something different that's actually a good choice Anthrax? Say it isn't so.

Charlie basically writes everything. If he leaves Anthrax, they are beyond fucked.
