No.... it probably means they are playing another show. Most bands that come to SXSW play multiple shows - usually one official showcase and one or more unofficial parties. It's not unheard of for some artists to play 5+ times at SXSW.

I'm sure they'll be drinking beer that day too.

I think the best time I had at SXSW was my 4th or 5th time, when I went with bands and had zero access to anything. All the bands on Tee Pee stayed in one house, and shit got wild. We'd go to the shows during the day and then come back to the house and absolutely fucking rage. There were tents in the backyard, we broke into this garage and took a bunch of bikes to ride all over town, we had an absolute mountain of Tecate cans. We had a week-long joke about the song "Spoonman" that's hard to explain but was pretty great where any of us would pick up a guitar, start singing any song, and it would devolve into "Spoonman."
