Oz/October 31 US Tour
A friend just forwarded this to me. Seems interesting.

Oz: Finnish band in the vein of NWOBHM. Their first ever US tour. They were supposed to be the opening act for Slayer and Venom in 1985 but that didn't happen.

October 31: Not a freaking clue.

Anybody know much about either band? Upon a quick Facebook glance, I can't find much info on either.

Trying to find venue info also.

Oz have been active again for a couple of years now. They played Sweden Rock one time. I skipped them because I think they suck.

They did a new album though. 'Burning Leather', came out on AFM in 2011, and is rather good for generic NWOBHM.

October 31 is King Fowley of Deceased's heavy metal band. They're alright, they played MDF last year.

Yeah, I really enjoyed October 31 at MDF last year. And, as I recall, Fowley name-checked Oz from the stage as one of the old school bands they like before doing a NWOBHM cover (maybe Saxon? can't remember...)
