85.War - U2

Tracklist:
1.Sunday Bloody Sunday
2.Seconds
3.New Years Day
4.Like A Song...
5.Drowning Man
6.The Refugee
7.Two Hearts Beat As One
8.Red Light
9.Surrender
10."40"

Genre: Rock/Post-Punk

U2's style is definitely softer then most of the others on this list, but that doesn't make this album any less rock. From the opener "Sunday Bloody Sunday", to the closer "40", this album is amazing.Highlights include fan favorite "40", the soft-rocker :New Years Day", and my favorite U2 song of all-time "Two Hearts Beat As One".This album most likely will only be enjoyed by fans of softer rock, but that's not saying non-fans of soft rock won't like it though. Everything from the signature shimmering delays of The Edge, to the soothing voice of Bono, is very well done, has a real epic feel it, and it earns it's place as one of my favorite albums of all time.

Standout Track:

I was actually about to bet that Behexen's By the Blessing of Satan will be #1!

This one I'll agree with. One of U2's best.

84.Nightfall In Middle Earth - Blind Guardian

Tracklist:
1.War Of Wrath
2.Into The Storm
3.Lammoth
4.Nightfall
5.The Minstrel
6.The Curse Of Feanor
7.Captured
8.Blood Tears
9.Mirror Mirror
10.Face The Truth
11.Noldor (Dead Winter Reigns)
12.Battle Of Sudden Flame
13.Time Stands Still (At The Iron Hill)
14.The Dark Elf
15.Thorn
16.The Eldar
17.Nom The Wise
18.When Sorrow Sang
19.Out On The Water
20.The Steadfast
21.A Dark Passage
22.Final Chapter (Thus Ends...)

Genre: Power Metal

Blind Guardian are the reason why I like power metal today. They have pretty much earned the title of "THE power metal band", and I support that statement to the fullest. This album is obviously a concept album about Middle Earth, and being the Tolkien fanatic I am I naturally love the idea.Even though the album is a little to heavy on the interludes, is killer as most people already know.Highlights include "Time Stands Still (At The Iron Hill", "Nightfall", and "When Sorrow Sang", with the best song being "Mirror Mirror".The guitar playing on this record is some of the best I've heard out of the genre, and is really fun to play if your a guitar player. Now just make sure you people know, this is NOT the only Blind Guardian album on this list, in fact the other one will be quite high up.All power metal fans will love this record.

Hahaha. I'm sure I'll delve thru the blur. Keeper II should be higher!

Also, the title track and I Want Out should be more of a standout than Dr. Stein. Just my 2 cents...

That Blind Guardian album is killer. Only other album I've heard in full on here besides Keeper II. Also, ...U2.
