You're right it's not probably necessary, It's absolutely necessary.

I'm stoked for my first 2013 show: Meshuggah, Animals as Leaders, Intronaut 2 weeks from Sunday.

It would be essential if they were still playing all of Alive Or Just Breathing.

But I think by the time they get here they'll have the new album out

I may have a bit of a bias considering how big of a Killswitch fan I am, but I would go regardless. I don't know if you've ever seen Jesse Leach perform live before, his vocals are astonishing in a live setting. His cleans gave me goosebumps when I saw Times of Grace at NEMHF 2011.

I've never seen them. With Howard on vocals I just couldn't be bothered. With Jesse I definitely can, but the Alive Or Just Breathing set vs basically any other set they can come with isn't a contest.

Jesse is definitely a better performer in every aspect than Howard was. I'm sure the set will be heavy on AJOB material even with new material out there. It's clearly the record that put them on the map and judging from the live videos I've seen, The whole band loves playing those songs live.

I'm chomping at the bit to see Killswitch with Jesse since the AJOB tour didn't come near me and the other two times they played here last year (comeback show at NEMHF and Trespass tour) were with shit lineups. I don't care if it's on Mayhem, a headlining tour, or whatever else, I just want to see those bastards this year.

Going to see Harms Way at a local show next Friday. I'm almost positive the venue is in a shitty neighborhood since it's by Cicero on Harlem Ave., so I'm probably gonna die!

It's actually not that terrible of an area, but the place is pretty damn small.
