High five! I'll be 2 months sober on February 8th, myself
... just noticed that I pulled this same shit last year too, when my Grandpa passed away. This time isn't as depressing, but there is some shit going on in my life that I sure wish I could change, but since not, then I'll cut out the drinking and 100% focus on my musics

Anyway

The only times I've cut down on my drinking were because I feared that if I continued to drink at my current rate I would have to eventually stop drinking entirely.

Haha no, that's essentially why I'm doing my sober stint right now. I haven't quit entirely and I don't intend to drag it out for too long, I just need to take a break and get myself used to drinking more moderately. So I don't have to stop entirely someday.

I'm also broke and unemployed at the moment, so that helps. But as soon as that tax return comes I'm celebrating

Being sober and drinking occassionally are two completely different things
