The date of the show I saw was July 12th, in New Orleans. According to setlists.fm the set list was the same for my show as yours. I, of course, don't remember it exactly but it seems legit. I also don't remember Clutch playing. My friends and I showed up just as SoaD were hitting the stage, so they may have played before we arrived.

I love road trips like that. So much fun, it's makes the drive worth it, and you almost always have great stories to tell afterwards.Quote:
I have many live CD's/DVD's from this tour, I really liked the set. I don't hate DIM as much as most people do. It's one of my least favorite Slayer albums, but I really like a lot of the songs. Bitter Peace, Death's Head, Stain of Mind, Overt Enemy, In The Name of God are all great songs. In The Name of God, believe it or not, might be in my top 10 Slayer songs. I was suprised to read they played that song several times in 2002 when Dave came back. Very cool review, I like to see old reviews like this.

Throw in Point and those are my favorite songs on Diabolus. In The Name Of God and Overt Enemy are seriously underrated Slayer songs |

For real. Overt Enemy is certainly different, but I find myself listening to it often. ITNOG is just a heavy ass tune that should be more popular than it is.

I just wanted to bump this because I knew I wasn't crazy thinking Clutch toured with Slayer. Here's the poster I had on my wall. I guess it was for some sampler cassette or something.

That is pretty badass. Did they play a lot of club shows on that tour? I would LOVE to see Slayer play a club show.
