Checking out the new Buke and Gase. Quirky indie rock with homemade instruments.

It's streaming on NPR http://www.npr.org/2013/01/20/169450...e-general-dome

The self-titled debut from Lancer (Sweden) is really good too if you're into power metal. Particularly if you're a fan of Edguy.

Yet another band whose music I dislike, but whose art I LOVE. Sucks because I'd love to have a poster of that, but it would make me a total poser!

If covert was what they were going for, they probably should have avoided posting it online.

The new Hypocricy single is meh. I was hoping it would be a lot more aggressive. I'm also checking the Hatriot debut and Katalepsy today.

I like the new song, as I like everything Hypocrisy puts out, but I was also hoping they would kind of continue in the heavier direction they were going with the last album.

Listening to Hatriot right now, not sure yet how I feel about it. It doesn't suck. Personally for me it's hard to listen to anything Souza's on without comparing it to Exodus.
