I'm glad I'm not the only person who thought the new Enslaved was not as awesome as everyone was telling themselves it was.

Me too. It's a good album, but I guess it was a bit of a let down to me. It's just not "Enslaved" in my eyes.

I find all the songs to just be two to three minutes to long (each) and they all sound the exact same. I only really pay attention during the calipso guitar part in song 4, and during the outro (last six or seven minutes) of the last song. The rest bores me to tears. And I've tried. I even threw it into my car CD player this past week and tried to give it another shot. But I still got nothing from it.

If there had of been a "Biggest Dissapointment of 2012" thread here, that would've been mine. I disliked it so much that I'm NOT going to see them on their current tour and I'm probably not going to even bother with their next album. Unless they release a stand-out track before the albums released.
