My Drum Cover of DTP's Supercrush!

In case anyone is interested in hearing me cover a song, I recorded this last week after talking to Ryan Van Poederooyen of the Devin Townsend Project about doing some drum covers. I was going to a few weeks back but got ridiculously busy. But Ryan talked me into recording one. In the future I will be recording Grace as well, but I picked out Supercrush! this time around for me first drum cover as it is a song I love to mess around with when practicing.

Today Ryan sent this to me, and it made my day:

I just heard the Supercrush demo and thought you did a great job on it man. Good feel,timing and precision, that's what that songs all about. Keep up the good work dude.

Kick ass! It's always such a rush when the drummer or band member of the band your covers comments on it .

I saw you uploaded it, but I had to get going and couldn't listen to more than the beginning of it, I'll be sure to check it out once I get some free time. Do a video next time

He actually sent that to me not on youtube. He actually heard it before I posted it on youtube.

But I did take video, but my camera is starting to shit out on me. On the camera it looks fine but when I upload it it looks like scrambled porn.

He knows be better as Josh. Someone else did that on the last tour and he didn't recognize it until they said "Josh From Wisconsin" haha.
