So we now know Behemoth, The Black Dahlia Murder and Machine Head have no involvement. I love em all but only Behemoth woulda made sense to have been on SS.

I would not be surprised if All Shall Perish is considered a headline type slot whether last or 2nd to last. They haven't done SS since 2010 and haven't done a major market headline tour.

BUT, Bodom and Dillinger both have new records coming out so that can be the 2 closing it out.

Has anyone thought about if Hatebreed or Amon Amarth can headline it?!

Hatebreed has a new album on the way and can use a major market tour like this and they've always brought bands on tour with them that would be on this.

Also i think Amon Amarth may be possible too. New record on the way and i think they only have a couple overseas shows booked in June if memory serves correct.

Bodom and Dillenger might be a bit strange but it could work. Amon Amarth headlining would be awesome though and so far they only have dates for a few European festivals in June.

I don't think All Shall Perish are big enough to co-headline but I could easily see them in the slot that The Faceless had last year (right before headliners).

If Hatebreed was on it the venue for Chicago might be the same. They sold out the HOB in Nov. but this month on tour they are playing a small town at a venue less the half the size.

I have heard a rumor that Arsis may be on Summer Slaughter this year or at least trying to get on it. Unsure how reliable it is but they do have a new album dropping in 2013 and have not done SS since 2007 so its a possibility.

We just got one of these types of things so I really hope that means SS will be coming here.
