The Official "What Does Your User Name?" Mean Thread

Meh fuck it since no one claimed the prize I had to offer, I will end it and explain my user name.

Simply put MPF is the initials of my very first band I had back i had from 7th-9th grade called My Personal Fate. and I used MPF as a user name for multiple forums I used to go to since it looks like it doesn't mean anything, although people say that it stands for Mike Portnoy Forum, which while it does, is not the acronym I use it for.

in 2010 I wrote a song with my old band in somewhat a tribute to that band called My Crimson fate, which was about the final fall in an epic battle of the gods. sadly the band broke up before we were album to record our first album.

Back when I first joined a message board back in the day, I thought The Boondock Saints was the coolest freaking movie. So I took the name of my favorite character and that was that. The name is usually taken most places so I just add 44 to it. I've used it for so many years it just makes sense to keep it.

My very first username on AOL some twenty years ago or so actually was "NatrlEhi" (taking advantage of all eight characters we were allowed at the time), but somewhere along the line I dropped the "E".

...actually, come to think of it, I remember exactly when it was. I had bought this red Camaro with t-tops and I thought it was a really badass ride at the time, so I got personalized plates for it which read "NATRLHI" because I could only have seven letters for a license plate.

Not that anybody gave a flying fuck, but there it is.

I came up with it like 12 or 13 years ago, back in high school. I don't use it as a screen name much any more; now I usually go with Thiestru, which is my solo 'band' name. It's Old English and means 'shades of night'.
