Well they started saying Twinkle and for some reason I thought "Hey maybe the song is all in English", though it was not.

Sooo what exactly is the difference between K-pop and pop? I mean besides different languages. Is it the lyrical content?

Besides language barrier, most big kpop acts are boy bands or girl bands, as opposed to most pop acts in the US being solo acts as of late. Plus they're all nimble, cute and extremely good dancers. Music is still shite though.

Or I just don't like that style of pop. Although my friend was playing some Sistar 19 the other day and the choruses were catchy. Plus the dance rehearsal video for Ma Boy is relevant to my interests.
