I'd say Amon Amarth and Behemoth are on the same level. No way they are even close to Bodom though (in the US)

Amon Amarth sold out the same venues that Bodom do by them selves. Bodom needs other pretty big openers to do that. Amon Amarth are the bigger band based on concerts they do here.

Yeah, but how long ago?

They both play the mainstage at Wacken and other Euro metalfests, but Amon Amarth sold out the same venue here as the sole band playing that Bodom got really close to selling out with Eluveitie and some other openers.

I would MUCH RATHER SEE BODOM HOLY SHIT, but Amon Amarth is bigger. Children of Bodom is kinda like Babby's first metal band in high school, but Amon Amarth is like Babby's first metal band that they think makes them cool.

I think they opened for them sometime last year, but I don't think it was in the US, so it's probably not applicable.

I still think CoB is more popular, but not by very much. If anything, them co-headlining wouldn't be out of the question here.

I think between Machine Head, Behemoth, and Children of Bodom, whoever doesn't play Mayhem will most likely head line Summer Slaughter.

I know that for Chicago, Behemoth and Amon play a smaller venue then COB. Plus COB can nearly sell out HOB.
