On the current tour it's the first song of the encore. 'Riches To Rags' is the show opener

Back when Halford was solo he put up two Priest bootlegs from the 80's as downloads. On the British Steel show the Harley comes out, but they had already played Hell Bent For Leather. I was confused, what was going on? All of a sudden they play Tyrant.

To this day I'm convinced that's the best closer ever.

Yea,noticed that, but it does work as an encore opener, although I do think the best opener they have used is Seven Doors Hotel

I've seen some things, man. And some stuff. I wouldn't recommend it.

Some other great concert openers I've seen....

Ted Nugent - Gonzo (7/10/2012, first time he played it since '79)

Rush - The Spirit of Radio (Time Machine Tour, 9/14/2010)

Motley Crue - Kickstart My Heart (Saints of Los Angeles Tour, Saint Patrick's Day 2009)

Kiss - King Of The Night Time World (Alive 35 Tour 10/5/2009)

Dream Theater - A Nightmare To Remember (7/10/10, Off day while on the road opening for Iron Maiden. They played the Palladium in Worcester, MA. A shithole that holds maybe 1,500 comfortably. Happened to be on one of the hottest days of the summer and the venue had no AC. Great show, albeit almost dying of heat stroke)

Motorhead - Bomber (Gigantour, 1/29/2012)

Rammstein - Sonne (Made in Germany Tour, 4/29/2012)

Michael Schenker - Lovedrive (Temple of Rock Tour, 10/20/2012)

Tonight has reminded me what an awesome closer 'Iced Earth' is.
