I finally caught the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead. OMG. Could they not make anymore of a cliff hanger!? That's like if they ended Season 2 with Rick pointing his gun at Shane.

New Dexter season was gooood! Lame how predictable the ending was though since they announced another season a while ago. Still good that the show is quality again after the atrocity of season 6

I went to see Texas Chainsaw 3D last night. The movie was absolute horse shit but a fight broke out in the theater before the film started and management generously enough gave everyone a refund and a free entry voucher for another film.

It wasn't that great of a cliffhanger. There are still too many stories for Merle and Daryl to get invovled with, especially Merle. We all know they won't be killed.

I'm in the middle of watching the first season right now. It's not the greatest show ever like so many claim but it's pretty damn good so far. Claire Danes and Damian Lewis's performances are excellent.

I think you mean season 5 was the atrocity. I've never seen such a great show have such an awful go nowhere season before. If someone started watching the show from the begining today, they could skip over season five and they would not miss one single relevant thing to the overall Dexter story. Season six has it's ups and downs but it was a step in the right direction. This season the show has returned to form and I loved the ending.

I finished the first season a couple of weeks ago. Thought it was all pretty damn average. The whole story could have been told in six episodes, and that would have been stretching it out.

People tell me the second season is better.

The first season didn't have a great end to it. Carrie getting electro shock doesn't really interest me and was just a dumb way to end it. It would be fine if it ended some other episode but not the season. The progression of Brody's character and the role he's playing in everything is my main interest.

In the US it's very rare for a season to have only six episodes unless it's a new show on a major network that gets a small episode order to start out. Most cable drama's like Homeland get a minium of 12 episodes a season now.

Yeah, I know. What they needed was about twice as much storyline as they actually wrote.

But then, you are resonsible for Lost, which was about 8 times longer than it needed to be
