I'm really surprised at Alcest being a disappointment. All the elements of a great Alcest record are there and I feel like he kept it fresh even though it's basically the same as the other albums.

That's just it. The record itself is pretty good, but it's by the numbers Alcest and left a lot to be desired for me. Their next project is going to be where it's at.
