Pretty cool set, but the best part for me is that the first game is coming to PS3.

I knew it, I fucking knew it! From the minute I read some interview last year that said ME1 would always be exclusive to XBox 360 i knew it would come to Playstation. There had to be some sort of licensing contract or something that kept them from releasing it on PS for so long and they've resolved or payed-off whoever it was with. There's just to much money to be made. It's stupid to leave it on one format when you can make twice as much money by releasing it on two (or three, because you can guarantee it will come out on whatever Nintendo's new system is).

I can't say if I'll ever play it. First off, I already know what happens. Second, from what I've heard gameplay-wise it wasn't as user-friendly as ME2 and ME3. Third, I just finished my second playthrough of ME2 and would probably want to continue that characters story in ME3 before I start a whole new quest. And last, I've been playing Mass Effect pretty solid since mid-May, I think I may be getting sick of it and want to move on for awhile.

Who the fuck am I kidding, I'll play it. I'll probably download it though. I can't pay $70 for two games I already own.

I'm not going to lie to you, you'll probably be disappointed by the ending. I like it but you do feel very empty afterwards. If you do play it do yourself a favor and download the extended edition. I'm pretty sure it's free and it makes things a little better.

Yeah I heard all about how bad the ending was (Vaguely, no spoilers). I do plan on buying ME3 eventually, I just haven't had the desire to play many video games lately. But I know it's cheap now so it'll be the next game I'll play for sure.

I just found out that Mass Effect for Playstation 3 costs the same to download as the Omega DLC for ME3. Now I really feel ripped off for getting Omega. Seriously, how can a four hour DLC run you the same as a full-game? I was hoping to be done with Mass Effect after I finish my current playthrough of 3 and maybe play a different game. But for fifteen bucks...it looks like the next six months of my life is going to be Mass Effect again (I take a while to get through games). Because if I play 1, I'm gonna play 2 and 3 again.

So I just tried ME3 online for the first time tonight and I naturally sucked. But where can I get all that gear from all those DLC packs I've downloaded onto my character?

You have to unlock them through buying packs with the in game money.
