Out from the lab, no need for rehab. If I can't drive then call me a cab.

Come on guys, Blood from Zion has practically been a set regular for two years now. For the time being anyway, I'll take Madness of an Architect over it. I'm hoping that the band mixes things up wih their opening set for CoC in Santa Cruz and their headlining set in SF but really I'm sure I'll have an amazing time at both shows regardless.

I'm still wondering why HoF insist on playing 75 minutes though. Clearly they can do 90 as evidenced by the recent shows in New York where they did extended sets for the live recordings and Matt can for sure do 2 hours as seen from most Sleep sets. They certainly have enough material we want to hear, that's for sure.

Isn't this their first tour since Matt got out of rehab? He looked good last night but they probably just want to take it easy for now just to make sure.

It's the second tour if you count that Australian run from a month ago. They've been doing 75 minute headlining sets pretty much forever, and they've had enough good material to fill 90 minutes if not 2 hours ever since Snakes for the Divine came out. With De Vermis, they have at least 5 songs from it alone that would slay live, and like I said earlier, I'm almost certain that Matt isn't the factor here, unless his voice is cracking by the end of every night or something.

Wut I had no idea they were even playing...
Keep in mind that they're not with Pepper.
