You should release the list in some fancy chart form. I think they now have a topsters generator where you can put in 100 albums.

EDIT: here it is http://top100.topsters.de

Honestly, I'm thinking about scrapping this and moving onto the 90's instead. Metal is more clearly defined there.

All I wanted was an 80's metal list that had Rush, AC/DC and Van Halen on it, but that was just too much to ask I guess.

Fair enough. I guess my list is just 40 albums then.

Wow, I didn't know you ranked these albums so highly on your list, let alone liked these two albums that much. Kudos my man! I personally think everything Sepultura came out with from 85-93 is stellar, but skiz-beneath-arise are the 1-2-3 KNOCK OUTS imho

Of course man, those albums are landmarks of the genre! I go back and forth between which one I like more.

Yeah man I feel you on that one. One thing i love about those two records is how radically different Max's vocals changed. In "Schizophrenia" he sounds like a demonic parasite, but in "Beneath the remains" he sounds like a straight up young brazillian dude in his early 20s with a thrashy voice and bad english. Some don't like it, but I love the super gritty production on Schizophrenia, goes really well with the atmosphere, as well as max's demonic voice.
