My guess is the latter.

I'm pretty much sure that's it. After all those harsh words there's no way the guy would come back to record guest drums with all the...what was it..."temporary members of Suffocation"?

Suffocation is going to be doing a North America tour in March. They're asking for recommendations for openers. I don't know if it's worth saying anything, but I recommended Immolation.

I saw that too. I recommended Devourment, cause they're releasing an album at around the same point, so it would be great for both bands.

I recommend Napalm Death, Vader and Krisiun, because it would rule! And I recommend they play Toronto on a Saturday.

Looks like these bands are trying to get on this tour so far:

Abysmal Dawn
Archspire
Arkaik

I get that bands want to capitalize on opportunities like this, but I personally can't stand when bands tell their fans to vote for them on things like this. Because then you have fans who would never even go out to a Suffocation show whoring out the band that posted a status. It's cheap and defeats the purpose of asking fans who they want to see on the tour

Plus this is their third album in a row with a re-recorded track from Breeding The Spawn tacked onto the end. So that track could have been recorded as far back as the self titled album.

New song is cool, just lost me for about 30 seconds in the middle of it.
