Eh, whenever I've seen them they've been good and bring other bands I like, so I'm ok with it

Mastodon just posted on Facebook that they are writing and recording a song for the new Monsters Inc. movie. Perhaps that is all they are entering the studio for?

In a interview released last week Hinds said they were entering the studio in January.

If the Slayer/ Anthrax tour was real wouldn't Anthrax headline? They usually play bigger venues.

No way. They just headlined the second stage at the Mayhem where Slayer co-headlined.

Yeah but didn't Slayer's last show was American Carnage at HOB as oppose to Anthrax nearly selling out Congress Theater and the Vic within a few months of each other.

In 2010 I saw Slayer headline a tour over Megadeth where Anthrax opened every show. Sort of like a Big 4 tour without Metallica. I prefer Anthrax but no way will they ever headline over Slayer.
