They put me more in the mind of "post-Gothenburg" than metalcore. Like Damage Done-era Dark Tranquillity. Take the song "Your Gaulish War" for example... it's basically a DT song with added folk instruments.

I suppose I agree with that. I love their first 3 albums and I guess I could draw a parallel there with a folky DT. The problem is I feel like they are moving towards a folky new In Flames :-p
