I stick by my theory that metalheads hate Nirvana because they're still buttmad that grunge killed hair metal.

People dislike Nirvana!? Dont really spend time on thinking of bands I really dislike, let alone have a list. However mainstream rock like Nickleback and Papa Roach are pretty,pretty boring.

I dunno about "most." Sure, the "tr00" guys all hated it, but I suspect a lot of them were at least tolerant of all but the most poppy stuff.

I could care less that Nirvana killed hair metal. What drives me crazy about them is the fact that everyone thinks they were a revolution & Cobain was the voice of a generation, etc. As far as the whole grunge scene goes, they were awful. Alice In Chains, Soundgarden & Pearl Jam were all vastly superior.
