Can you guys help me out with this list?

Okay, so while trying to get into new bands, I asked someone for a list of albums to listen to, expecting at least eight or so - and I got this:

Quote:
Cro Mags - The Age of Quarrel
Pestilence - Consuming Impulse
Deicide - Deicide
Deicide - Legion
Nuclear Assault - Survive
DRI - Four of a Kind
DRI - Dealin' With It
Dr Know - the Best of Dr Know
Dr Know - This Island Earth
Adramalech - Psychostasia
Demilich - Nespithe
Demigod - Slumber of Sullen Eyes
Entombed - Left Hand Path
Incantation - Onward to Golgotha
Immolation - Dawn of Possession
Possessed - Seven Churches
Prong - Beg to Differ
Aura Noir - Out to Die
Cancer - To the Gory End
Sodom - Persecution Mania
Coroner - No More Color
Cianide - Gods of Death
Death Strike - Fuckin' Death
Corrosion of Conformity - Animosity
Misfits - Earth AD and Walk Among Us
I've heard a few of these albums (the Deicide and DRI ones, most notably), and that's about it. I have no idea where to start on these albums - even though I've been meaning to get into a couple of these bands before, so I decided to ask you guys:

...What the hell do you think should I listen to first, and what songs from the albums stand out to you?

Just go one by one I guess, or maybe just sample a song or two if you want to get the feel of each album before really checking them out. Consuming Impulse and Left Hand Path are absolutely essential death metal albums if you haven't heard those yet. I'd also add Static Age to that list of Misfits albums.

Not sure why they would tell you to start with Death Strike. I would check out Master - Master since most of the songs from Death Strike are on that album, but in better quality.

On the death metal side of that list I would start with Entombed and Possessed and move on from there.

Any Misfits is awesome. So sample one song off either of those albums and if you like it you'll like the rest.

And if you like Misfits listen to Danzig's solo albums.

If you're new to death metal, get Possessed- 7 Churches first. If you like that, than Entombed's Left Hand Path is a great follow up.

If you listen to Coroner's No More Color, your vagina will be ripped apart by monkeys.

With Deicide, start with the self-titled first.

Consvming Impvlse is awesome, but it's all that's worth getting by Pestilence really.

Persecution Mania is a great starting point for Sodom.

Not so sure about Immolation cos I've only heard one album, and Dawn of Possession isn't it. and I'm not sure if the album I have is a better starting point.

As for stand out songs...

Pestilence - Consuming Impulse: Out of the Body
Deicide - Deicide: Sacrificial Suicide
Deicide - Legion: Holy Deception
Demilich - Nespithe: the first track, because after that it all kind of runs together
Entombed - Left Hand Path: Left Hand Path
Possessed - Seven Churches: Holy Hell
Sodom - Persecution Mania: Nuclear Winter
Coroner - No More Color: DOA
