We were over capacity all day and it was like 20 degrees outside. Only good part was that I stayed inside a lot of the day doing nothing and did mainly carry outs. Made $20 from tips that Walmart says I'm not allowed to take.

If you do take those be very careful that you don't get caught and don't say anything to your co-workers. Unless you're good at bullshitting yourself out of situations, you probably would get fired if the your bosses found out. If you're a holiday hire though, you may as well go for it since your ass will be out the door after new years anways.

I'm not holiday hire and all the other cart guys know because they accept the tips too. We have a inside rule of where and when we can take it. You cant do it inside the store and if for some reason we are right infront of the store we tell the customer we cant take it because of cameras and they usually slip it in our back pocket as we turn around.

Other wise if we are far out in the lot then no one can see anyway.

That's fine as long as you trust your co-workers. I worked at Target for four years and there was always a rat somewhere blowing people in for shit. Sure, they would act like your friend, but as soon as you weren't around they would be talking shit about you to the bosses

The cartguys that know about this I've worked with long enough to trust them. Plus they've accepted the tips with me. They generally hate the managers too plus one cart guy said if anyone ever rats on someone else he'd beat the shit outta them in the parking lot. I believe him too since he's a fucking gang member.

At 5pm today, my cousin (and one of my best friends) was found dead of an overdose where he is stationed in Georgia.
