Not anymore because nobody has to be convinced how great of a band AIC is. On the other hand, Deftone fans trying to convince non fans how great they are is something that will unfortunately never end.

Isn't that pretty much a daily argument on here w/ alot of bands already? Not just Deftones specifically.

If you look up videos from Knotfest, you can see all the stage antics that Deftones did and that Chino is a great frontman and can now put on energy, but a lot of their songs I can't get into. Every album since the self titled album has had a few great songs with a lot of mediocre ones.

Wah? The self-titled was mind-numbingly mediocre to me and Saturday Night Wrist flat out blew. Recently, they have gotten their shit together musically again (the tragedy of Chi's accident revitalized them as a band) Diamond Eyes is honestly my favorite records of theirs and Koi No Yokan is damn good too.

Deftones were definitely one of the most energetic shows I've been to.

I've seen Deftones be good and be bad, to be honest I didn't bother the last couple times they came because the previous two times I saw them the set was like 60-70% off Diamond Eyes+singles

I love AiC but they usually tour with shitty bands. BDS was the first time they toured with bands I liked.

Front row center both times. It'd be hard to miss if they were doing something. The bassist was a little into it at the SOAD show this summer but the guitarist just stands there and Chino isn't exactly active either.
