Alice In Chains 2013 US tour
I just received word that Alice In Chains is putting together a package tour to coincide with their new album dropping in early April. The tour will run thru May with the band in negotiations to play Rock On The Range 2013.

Nice. Any idea what they mean by package tour? A co-headliner or something like BlackDiamondSkye was?

Not sure. I know Deftones have the same management so those two bands touring together again is very possible.

I love Deftones! I have yet to see them headline though, which is something I really want to do. Although I don't see any show I go to in the near future topping seeing Deftones and System Of A Down on the same bill as I did in August. If Deftones is on board for this tour though, I hope it is a co-headlining one where both bands get around 90 minutes. I would still consider going even if that wasn't the case because it would be cool to see Alice In Chains live, but seeing Deftones headline is even higher on my bucket list.

AIC tour = Yay!

AIC tour with Deftones opening = Well, I have Sirius radio in the car, so I won't be bored while waiting for AIC to come on.

I can see why people may not like Deftones live. When I saw them open for Black Sabbath it was not very good. Mind you it was at the Skydome in Toronto and I'm sure the guys working the board were paid to make sure no one sounded better than Sabbath. I remember a lot of reverb.
