Rush -- Anaheim, CA -- November 17th, 2012
Set 1:
Video Intro (Gearing Up) Subdivisions The Big Money Force 10 Grand Designs Limelight Territories Analog Kid The Pass Where's My Thing (with drum solo) Far Cry Intermission (Clockwork Angels String Ensemble enters) Set 2: Video Intro (The Appointment) Caravan Clockwork Angels The Anarchist Carnies The Wreckers Headlong Flight (with drum solo) Halo Effect (with guitar solo intro) Wish Them Well The Garden Dreamline The Percussor (drum solo) Red Sector A YYZ (Clockwork Angels String Ensemble exits) The Spirit of Radio Encore: Tom Sawyer 2112 Overture/Temples of Syrinx/Grand Finale The sound quality was a bit disappointing to me. In my experience RUSH have always had crystal clear live sound. Such was not the case at this show. It was loud but Alex was almost impossible to hear on many songs. Geddy's vocals also got lost in the mix from time to time. It may have been the venue or my location but the quality I am used to at RUSH shows was just not there. I miss that they dont use lasers in the light show anymore. The fat slob next to me really needs to find out what soap and deodorant are.

When I realized that Middletown got the shaft, I damn near pissed myself in rage! I liked the sound though. That's just me.

Sometimes it seemed alright....it was much better in the CA part of the set. First few songs I thought it was pretty bad. When a solo from Alex does not come through clearly....I don't likey!

They better keep Middletown in the set when they record the DVD.

I thought they sounded good. Alex did seem a little hard to hear on a few but for the most part they all sounded alright. This is the first arena show they've done in Southern California in a long time, arenas don't usually have the best acoustics. Probably why they didn't sound as clear as they usually do. I thought it was a great show.

I was very afraid that was going to happen in Seattle but I was lucky and they played it. Don't know why they are throwing in Limelight at random but it sucks if it happens to you.
