just a friday night in sf drinking with friends figuring out what to do last night..saw that halestorm was playing at Slims, which i have to say is a dive, holds prob like 500 at best..and some spots is limited or obstructive view.
sound quality was so/so. i want to go to killswitch engage here on nov 25th..but i honestly have no idea how u can mosh in this place lol.

so onto the night

First band was Eve To Adam? idk never heard of em, but sounded pretty good.

next was In This Moment
ive seen this band twice. once on mayhem and once opening for nonpoint.
their sound was horrific, constant distortion and can barely hear the singer.
the music is alright, but they are more stage entertainment. lots of outfits, props, smoke. which was pretty cool,

Ive heard of Halestorm but only knew like one or two songs..but wow! i wish i knew more, they ROCK! totally brought tons of energy, sounded amazing and i will def go see em next time they come out ot the bay. if you havent heard of em or havent gave em a good listen...DO! u wont be dissapointed.

What a fucking whoreible In This Moment set. Way to ignore your first two albums!

A pretty decent Halestorm song, although I personally hate I Miss The Misery (lyrically it pisses me off, but that's just me).
