It needs its own thread outside of the Wrestling thread

I haven't played a wrestling game for quite a while, but this may be a for sure pick up for me. The Attitude Era career mode looks like nostalgia center, and all the DLC they have announced is amazing (although it is missing two key Nation members, D'Lo Brown & Owen Hart)

D'Lo will never be in and I'm surprised Owen isn't in it even as DLC.

Oh well still got that shit preordered.

I played Smackdowns on PSone and PS2 religiously from "Know Your Role" until 2006. The series peaked with "Here Comes the Pain". BUt I was really into wrestling around that time. I have 2008 but really never played it, but there's not too much coming out this Christmas so I think I may get this for old times sake.

Are the WWE games still formulaic and boring to play? They certainly hadn't fixed that up and including WWE '12...

I haven't played any for a few years, but WWE 13 got a pretty good review on IGN, I still need to pick it up.

Possible DLC they need to consider...

I played WWE 13. FUCKING AMAZING! Honestly one of the best wrestling games I've ever played (nearly played every wrestling game made).

The Attitude Era mode is fucking great getting to play the historic moments.

I've played about a month in the WWE Universe mode. I always liked modes like this and the GM mode since I get to make my own champions and book my own feuds. The best thing though is that I can get rid of that shitty looking WWE championship belt and use an old design since they have them in the game.

In the WWE Universe mode i've combined up the current roster with some of the attitude era one. It's pretty damn fun to play like that.

Can you import songs off CD's or iTunes for entrance music? The CAWs I'm going to make of my sons need to have Destroy Everything by Hatebreed as their entrance music.

Test will never be in a WWE game again because he died from a drug overdose a couple years ago. That wouldn't be too PG of the WWE to put him in

THQ has had the DLC stuff set for awhile now and it kicks ass:

I'm pretty sure you can. A couple years ago I used "Walk With Me In Hell" from Lamb Of God as the entrance theme for my Chris Benoit CAW. It just seemed to make sense after what happened.
