ABIGAIL WILLIAMS Emerges From Longest Hiatus In Metal History

I guess you can't keep a good thing down. Abigail Williams frontman Ken Sorceron took to facebook a few minutes ago to break the news that Abigail Williams is working on a new album, due in 2013. In a lengthy statement to fans, Ken stated "New album coming in 2013..."

In July 2012, Abigail Williams announced the band was over following the Summer tour trek which ended in September.

The yet-to-be-titled- opus will be released on Candlelight Records.

I think it's been a month and a half since their last show, if that.

Clearly this was a marketing strategy to get people to go to their shows.

...seriously, how many bands did they open for between '10-'11?

Didn't they only say they were going to stop playing shows, but continue making music?

As glad as I am that they're not calling it quits, that was lame. Don't say something like that just because you're having a bad day.

Well Ken only said he was breaking up Abigail Williams because he wanted to make other music. I'm guessing those projects fell through or they are on the back burner.

Regardless I'm glad they are still going to keep going. Becoming is their best album to date.
