Dethklok -- Silver Spring, MD -- November 2nd, 2012

The show started ridiculously early, 6:30pm, and was over before 11pm. Because it was a week day and traffic in this area sucks, I totally missed the first two bands, The Black Dahlia Murder and Machine Head. Due to Hurricane Sandy, this was the first show of the tour. Below I've posted the Dethklok and All That Remains set lists and I've posted photos of the merch as well so you can see what they've got and for how much (hint, merch wasn't cheap). Click any of these photos to see them larger.

Here's the Dethklok set list:

Intro Video
Detheme
I Ejaculate Fire
Hatredcopter
Tribunal Video
Dethsupport
Murmaider
Facebones/Lady Video
Andromeda
Awaken
Coffee Video
Rockso Video
Ghostqueen
CFO Video
The Gears
The Galaxy
Thunderhorse
Encore/Plot Wrap Video
Go Into The Water
Crush The Industry

All That Remains set list:

This Calling
Dead Wrong
Six
Aggressive Opposition
Hold On
Down Through The Ages
Stand Up
Become The Catalyst
Some Of The People All Of The Time
Two Weeks

And once again, the merch for Machine Head blows.

I'm actually pretty disappointed with that Dethklok set. So many great songs omitted. Plus their merch is horrendous! What is up with that new logo?!

New logo sucks.

I've pretty much agreed on skipping this tour. For when it is and how much I don't think it'll be worth it.

Dethklok is worth it 100% of the time, but I do agree that the set is a bit weak. I'd rather them take out Thunderhorse and Andromeda and add something like Killstardo Abominate and I Tamper With Evidence at the Murder Site of Odin.

The Black Dahlia set is probably gonna be lame. Probably just a "greatest hits" type set.

Judging by their consistently god awful merch , that merch isn't too bad.

I can't believe that Machine Head is not headlining this show! They are much better and I would think have a way larger following than Dethklok

Silence, fool! Black Dahlia sets can be too short, but never lame. Not with the high quality performances they give.
